Flow Rate Chart

Cloverleaf's submersible “Power Pump” range comprises of 5 different models, all of which incorporate a safety feature float switch, together with an integral thermal cutout switch. With their battleship style construction these heavy duty pumps are capable of high flow rates up to a maximum of 16,800 LPH (3733 GPH). Pumping up to good “head” heights (up to 9 metres) is also possible.

The PPS models are impressive and unique in being able to  handle 24mm diameter solids - with the PP range handling solids up to 10mm diameter. All models include a ceramic shaft for long life plus important double waterproof seals on cable entries, and are offered with a full no nonsense 2 year warranty.

It is believed that it will not be long before the “Power Pump” range earns itself a first class reputation amongst enthusiasts.

Models Comprise:

PPS 16000 -16800 LPH (3733 GPH) - 600 Watt

PPS 11000 - 11400 LPH (2533 GPH) - 500 Watt

PP 15000 - 15600 LPH (3466 GPH) - 600 Watt

PP 13000 - 13200 LPH (2933 GPH) - 500 Watt

PP 8000 - 8400 LPH (1866 GPH) - 250 Watt

Below: Cloverleaf Surface Pumps
New for 2006. Designed & built for durability and reliability the Cloverleaf Surface Pump range comprise of 2 models - the CSP1 ¼ h.p. model rated at 10800 lph (2400 gph) and the CSP2 1/3 h.p. model rated at 13500 lph (3000 gph).

Both models are ideal for gravity fed filters such as the Cloverleaf "CL" range or the "Genesis" range. Pumps are IP55 specification (weatherproof for external use) and have 38mm (1.5") inlet/outlets together with a integral filter basket.

New for 2006. Cloverleaf's TURBO submersible pumps represent a budget range of solids handling low wattage units which  are ideally suited for watercourse features or Cloverleaf’s smaller filtration systems like the CL1, F20 and F4.

The range comprises of 5 models: 5000 - 4800 LPH (1066 gph) 95 watt, 3800 LPH (844 gph) 75 watt, 2500 LPH (555 gph) 45 watt, 1100 LPH (244 gph) 20 watt and the 700 LPH (155 gph) 13 watt. All pumps are supplied with a fountain head kit.

The “Aquamaxima” range of submersible pumps have now been re-named as “AquaPower +” (AquaPower Plus). Specification and high standards of manufacture remain the same, with the name change being brought about due to possible confusion with another European manufacturers range of pumps. This confusion was also assisted over the fact that visually the “Aquamaxima” pump motor looked identical to that from another manufacturer.

The “AquaPower +” range of low pressure professional watercourse and filter pumps are available in three low energy efficient models, all of which only require low maintenance. They comprise of the 4500 LPH (68 Watt) model – the 7500 LPH (89 Watt) model – and the 14000 LPH (250 Watt) model. These units manufactured in the Netherlands can be used in any submersible application in the pond for normal solids handling - feeding either a filter system or waterfall feature.

Major benefits of the pumps offer very low maintenance due to the solids handling capability and lack of any foam pre-filter. Such design features also mean that consistent water flows are more easily achieved, thus by default meaning that beneficial bacteria colonies within filtration systems remain far more healthy due to a regular supply of saturated oxygen and nutrients.

Cloverleaf belief that the engineering quality of the “AquaPower +” range can be happily compared to any other similar pump on the international market.

The 3 KW (2580 kcal/h) “Profi – Heater” will appeal to all pondkeeper’s who prefer to retain the activity of fish during the winter months by increasing the water temperature. The unit incorporates a stainless steel inner lining to the SS electric heating element, with a sturdy remote thermostatic controller box providing a maximum temperature up to 40C (achieved subject to water volume, temperature & insulation).
SAFETY

General User Tips For Pumps & Heaters:

1: As with all pond related electrical products pumps, heater units, UV's, etc, should for safety purposes be connected via a RCD unit.

2: To achieve maximum flow rates make use of the largest diameter hose (or rigid pipe), and keep bends or long horizontal runs restricted to a minimum.

3: Where applicable correct use of the float switch will ensure that in the event of a pipe or filter failure that the pond is not emptied of water to the point of killing the fish. For this reason do make sure that the float switch balloon always has free movement to travel.

4: In the rare event of poor performance or pump failure check the device for internal blockage. Always disconnect from the electric's supply before doing this. On the "Power Pump" range the base plate should be removed for inspection of the impeller, however it must NOT be dismantled beyond this point.

5: Temporary blocking on a pump will likely activate the thermal cutout switch. This is a good safety feature, and is not an indicator of a manufacturing fault. In any event of failure allow 20 minutes for the pump to cool down and the auto switch to restart - before taking any further remedial action.
