| With Cloverleaf’s involvement in many aspects of the pond environment, the following new products were launched at Birmingham’s NEC GLEE trade show during late 2006. These will shortly be available during 2007 as an extension to its current extensive range - where quality, sound design, and good value are always present. Great interest at the show was seen specific to the new innovative “Multi Bay Particle Separation System” range of filters, together with the radical revised design for the new "Foam Fractioner" . Some of these products will be available from the tail end of 2006, so stay in tune with your retailer, or contact Cloverleaf for the very latest news. | |

ADTEC - CL2 |
At the
2005 GLEE trade show Cloverleaf had introduced the Particle
Separation System (PSS) design into several of its single tank
units, with the promise of trying to incorporate the technology into
their pump fed multi bay filters in the future. This goal it has now
achieved, with the advanced design being offered as an option on all
the Professional CL Range together with the Genesis Mk 2
Range. These models will be known as
ADTEC
(advanced technology) - example: ADTEC - CL2 or for Genesis Mk2
range example ADTEC - G2/4. For a brief explanation the PSS is incorporated within what was the existing vortex bay with its unique designed floating media trapping fine particles, and thus preventing them from contaminating other bays of the filter. This design principle could best be described as a highly refined vortex unit, with the media also offering an important increase in biological bed capacity. Key advantages of PSS are lower maintenance of the filter plus the huge increase in efficiency, to the point that by example the standard CL2 rated for Koi ponds up to 2,500 gallons is now with PSS rated at 5,000 gallons - an improvement of 100%. Its believed the ADTEC is set to bring about a major re-think to all pond keepers who acknowledge the proven virtues of multi-bay filter systems, and the importance of water clarity. With the numerous distinct advantages offered by incorporation of the PSS its considered highly likely that by the end of 2007 customer demand will be such that Cloverleaf will stop production of standard vortex pump fed CL and Genesis Mk2 filters. Cloverleaf pump fed multi bay filters can of course be connected to a bottom drain, with the filter 90% sunk below ground level. (Diagram shown elsewhere on website). | At the GLEE trade
show in September 2006 the Cloverleaf stand had several working
examples of the new Dual Function Foam Fractioner which generated much interest. Cloverleaf’s past "Foam Fractioner" based on a tub design has now undergone a design transformation to offer exceptionally good value, and a high spec incorporating the bonus of biological media. Based on the body of the M70 FB the fractioner will appeal to those suffering foam on the pond surface (excess protein or dissolved organic compounds), or those after simply obtaining the ultimate in water quality. | For 2007 the option will exist for all Fluidised Bed filters to be constructed using grey plastic pressure pipe (no photo currently available). This option follows the requests from many European customers. | |
