| Introduction
To The Genesis II Range |
| Although all
“Cloverleaf” multi bay filters are sturdily constructed (with most suitable for
use below ground level), the superb Genesis Mk 2 range is built like a
battleship, and as a consequence can be placed in locations requiring
backfilling. With the range being highly suitable for larger ponds special design
large multi bay configurations are possible – subject to negotiation
with the factory. It is a great rarity to find a manufacturer who will
construct a "one off" filtration system in accordance with a
customers specific requests, but Cloverleaf will happily do precisely
that.
New For
2007: In pump fed
installations all models in the Genesis 2 range can as an optional cost extra have a PSS (Particle
Separation System) integrated into the first bay. These advanced models
are known as ADTEC. For further details refer to
New PSS Filter Range
page. It is believed that the positive advantages of the ADTEC system
will become very popular in the near future to the point that
standard pump fed Genesis 2 models will only be available as a
special factory order.

This
drawing illustrates the general design concept to the Cloverleaf
“CL” range. As can be seen key beneficial features
are numerous, starting from the principles of up and down flow through
the tanks thereby keeping the water in contact with the mediums for as
long as possible. Apart from the advantageous separation and settlement
of solids in the vortex bay, the generation of an “upflow” and the
incorporation of settlement areas (with drain down valves) ensures that
the filtration mediums stay cleaner for longer – thus promoting larger
colonies of beneficial bacteria, and by default thereby establishing a
healthier pond environment. The clever design layout of the vertical
transfer ports also provides the highly useful bonus of being able to
incorporate air stones (where desired) without the need for the pond to
appear similar to a witch’s cauldron. |

Size 1860 x 620 x
860mm high. This unit
will cater for Koi ponds up to 2,500 gallons ( 11,250 litres) or Goldfish
ponds up to 5,000 gallons ( 22,500 litres). Concept of design is generally all as specified for the
“CL” range. Bay 1 - Vortex. Bay 2 - Japanese Matting. Bay 3 -
Aquarock with multi layer foam protection. Note:- Pipe inlet size 110mm (4") -
Outlet 110mm (4")

Illustrated here is
the Genesis Mk 2 – 4 Bay system. Size 2480 x 620 x 860mm high, with each
bay nominally holding 50 gallons of water. This unit
will cater for Koi ponds up to 4,000 gallons (18,000 litres) or Goldfish
ponds up to 8,000 gallons (36,000 litres).
Concept of
design is generally all as specified for the “CL” range
and the above diagram. Bay 1 - Vortex. Bay 2 - Brushes. Bay 3 - Japanese
Matting. Bay 4- Aquarock with multi layer foam protection. Note:- Pipe inlet size 110mm (4") -
Outlet 110mm (4")

Size 3100 x 620 x
860mm high. This unit
will cater for Koi ponds up to 4,500 gallons (20,250 litres) or Goldfish
ponds up to 9,000 gallons (40,500 litres). Concept of design is generally all as specified for the “CL” range.
This superb filter will also have a special appeal to those who feel
constrained by the filtration mediums available in standard 4 bay units.
